ROBERTO's OPINION ON NEW CDS BY THE OTHER BANDS

1) KREYOL LA CD: "A very commercial cd. My favorite song on the cd is "FANM KREYOL". Loulou lage groov sou cd a."

2)CARIMI CD: "I got a copy from Joubert...I have not listened to it completely to get a full opinion on it. Reynaldo has my copy now. What I think is the downfall of the Carimi cd is that YO MANKE METE GROOV NAN MIZIK YO. They are lacking in the groove department on the cd, and I think MAYBE IT WAS DONE BY CHOICE in order for them to play them at bals. It could be a strategy on their part...I don't know. The song that caught my attention that I like a lot on there is the song "Mwen Pa Macho".

3) RICHIE/GRACIA CD: "My favorite song on the cd is "A LANVER". I also like the song 'PAPA' a lot because Richie really came through on the VOCALS. If Richie was not a drummer, he would be one of the best vocalists on the market. On that song, I heard him reach notes that other vocalists can't."

4) DJAKOUT CD: "I have not heard it completely. At first I thought that "Lwe Christ" was the best song on the cd, but after listening to it again, MY FAVORITE SONG IS "PWOBLEM". While other people are talking about "Eskive" and "Jistis", I think that the song "PWOBLEM" is THE FORCE ON THE CD. Maybe the expectations were too high for the Djakout cd based on some of the reactions, but it's still very early so nap tan/we're waiting."
5) KREZI CD: "The downfall to Krezi's cd is the MIX. They have a very good album. My favorite tracks on there are "LET'S TALK", "TI MAFI", and "BACK 2 BACK". The group should exploit those songs to the fullest."
